On this tour your first stop will be Hawaii's most famous location, Pearl Harbor. You will be shown a twenty- minute film about the attack on Dec. 07, 1941, then view a great collection of historic artifacts on display at the new Visitor Center. Next, you will be transported by a navy launch to the USS Arizona Memorial.
Throughout this adventure, your Oahu Nature Tour's professional guide will explain Pearl Harbor's geology, Hawaiian history, mythology, its native bird and plant species and unique marine life in a informative and educational scientific way no other tour company can equal.
After leaving Pearl Harbor your tour continues with a visit to Punchbowl, a 75,000 year old volcanic crater known in Hawaiian as "The Hill of Sacrifice".
Additional highlights on this tour include visiting the statue of King Kamehameha, and seeing Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States and Kawaiahao Church, "the Westminster Abbey of Hawaii".
