Tour Title Natural Highlights of Oahu Adventure
Tour Description

Photos of this tour
The first location visited on this excursion is Diamond Head.  Inside the ancient crater your guide will explain the origins and history of this world famous landmark, the ”Gibraltar of the Pacific”.

Our exploration of Oahu continues by visiting Hanauma Bay along the island’s stunning southeast volcanic coastline. In this beautiful underwater park, the guide will inform guests about the origins and history of the bay.

Our next stop is the famous blowhole at Halona Point where sea water is pushed up through a volcanic vent to erupt into a large fountain. From January to May we are likely to see the giant Humpback Whales that frequent these waters.

Next, we drive along the spectacular windward coast of Oahu while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of off-shore islands.

At Makapu’u Point, we stop at the lookout for a brief photographic opportunity. We can usually see several native seabirds from this location. After leaving this vantage point, the guide will inform guests about the fascinating evolution that has occurred in Hawaii and the human impact on the environment.

Our next stop is Ulupou Heiau, an ancient Hawaiian war temple. At this archaeological site, your guide will show you some of the most important food plants of the early Hawaiians and explain how they were used.

At the world renowned Pali Lookout, described by Mark Twain as one of the most beautiful views on Earth, you will see the turquoise waters of Kaneohe Bay, the island of Chinaman's Hat, and the jagged, 2000 foot vertical cliffs of the majestic Ko’olau volcano.
